USDA Reopens Comment Period for Horse Importation Rule Amid Contagious Equine Metritis Concerns

The US Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is reopening the comment period for an interim rule on testing requirements for importing horses from countries affected by contagious equine metritis, and is delaying enforcement of the rule until a final version is published.
