USDA Proposes New Biobased Product Categories for Federal Procurement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to expand the types of biobased products eligible for federal procurement preference, adding 13 new categories including air fresheners, asphalt restorers, and wood stains, and setting minimum biobased content requirements for each category.
