USDA to Host Public Meeting on Pre-Harvest Food Safety for Cattle

The USDA is hosting a public meeting to gather input on strategies to reduce the risk of pathogens like Shiga toxin-producing E. coli and Salmonella in beef during the slaughter process, in collaboration with the FSIS, APHIS, and ARS.
