Federal Government to Adopt Automated Clearing House Rules

The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Management Service is issuing a final rule that adopts the 2009 ACH Rules published by NACHA, with some exceptions, to govern the use of the Automated Clearing House network by federal agencies, including new requirements for international payment transactions and post-death benefit payments.
