CBP Proposes to Increase Informal Entry Limit and Remove Formal Entry Requirement

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is proposing to increase the informal entry limit from $2,000 to $2,500 and remove the formal entry requirement for certain articles, citing inflation and reduced administrative burden on importers.
