U.S. Department of the Treasury Amends Privacy Act Regulations to Consolidate IRS Systems of Records

The Department of the Treasury has implemented changes to its Privacy Act regulations, consolidating twelve IRS systems of records into six and exempting the revised systems from certain provisions of the Act, as required by the Privacy Act of 1974.
