IRS Issues Final Regulations for Employers' Annual Federal Tax Return and Deposit Rules

The IRS has released final regulations allowing certain employers to file a single annual tax return, Form 944, instead of quarterly returns, and providing guidance on deposit requirements and lookback periods for employers required to file Forms 941 and 944.
