Mine Safety and Health Administration Replaces Emergency Temporary Standard with Final Rule for Underground Coal Mines

The Mine Safety and Health Administration has replaced its Emergency Temporary Standard with a final rule requiring underground coal mine operators to maintain a minimum of 80% incombustible content in coal dust, rock dust, and other dust to reduce the risk of explosions.
