NMFS Grants Preliminary Approval for Exempted Fishing Permit Application Under Magnuson-Stevens Act

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Greater Atlantic Region, has given preliminary approval to an Exempted Fishing Permit application, allowing federally permitted vessels to fish outside regulations in support of exempted activities, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
