OSHA Seeks Public Comments on Proposal to Extend OMB Approval of Standard for Servicing Rim Wheels

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is soliciting public comments on a proposal to extend the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) approval of information collection requirements for servicing multi-piece and single-piece rim wheels, as outlined in the Standard on Servicing Multi-Piece and Single Piece Rim Wheels (29 CFR 1910.177). The proposed extension would require manufacturers to certify that repaired restraining devices and barriers meet strength requirements and mark or tag defective wheels and components.
