Proposed Exemptions From Certain Prohibited Transaction Restrictions

The Department of Labor has issued notices of proposed exemptions from ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code for several companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Principle Trust, and Genzyme Corporation, to potentially relax restrictions on certain transactions involving employee retirement plans.
