USPTO Modifies Patent Term Adjustment Calculation Software in Light of Wyeth v. Kappos Decision

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is updating its computer program to calculate patent term adjustments following the Federal Circuit's decision in Wyeth v. Kappos, and is allowing patentees to request a recalculation without a fee for patents issued before March 2, 2010.
