BP Seeks Authorization for Marine Mammal Take in U.S. Beaufort Sea

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has received a request from BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. to authorize the incidental taking of marine mammals related to the operation of offshore oil and gas facilities in the U.S. Beaufort Sea from April 2011 to April 2016. NMFS is seeking public input on the proposed regulations.
