NMFS Approves Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Study Fleet Program

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has given preliminary approval to an Exempted Fishing Permit application for the Study Fleet Program, which aims to grant exemptions from minimum fish sizes and possession limits, and is managed by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth School of Marine Science and Technology.
