NMFS Approves Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Monkfish Fishing in Northeastern US

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has approved an Exempted Fishing Permit application for commercial fishing vessels to conduct compensation fishing operations for monkfish in the Northeastern United States, subject to further review and consultation.
