U.S. Coast Guard to Decommission Loran-C Program

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Coast Guard have made a decision to stop the Loran-C Program, a navigation system used for decades, and will no longer transmit the North American Loran-C Radionavigation Signal.
