Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone for Bridgeport, CT Construction

The US Coast Guard has set up a temporary safety zone around the Congress Street Bridge in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to protect vessels from hazards caused by construction barges, in order to facilitate the partial demolition of the bridge.
