Forwarding of Asylum Applications to the Department of State

The Department of Justice plans to modify its regulations to allow the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) to forward asylum applications to the Department of State (DOS) on a discretionary basis, aiming to increase efficiency in DOS's review process.
