Veterinary Feed Directive; Extension of Comment Period

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending to August 27, 2010, the comment period for the advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) that appeared in the Federal Register of March 29, 2010 (75 FR 15387). In the ANPRM, FDA requested comments on the need for improvements to the veterinary feed directive (VFD) regulation. The agency is taking this action in response to requests for an extension to allow interested persons additional time to submit comments.

Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
