FDA Clears ACCUTANE Capsules for Sale, Citing Lack of Safety or Effectiveness Concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it will not withdraw approval of ACCUTANE (isotretinoin) capsules in 10mg, 20mg, and 40mg strengths due to concerns over safety or effectiveness, allowing the drug to remain on the market.
