HHS Delegated Authority Under the Public Health Service Act for COVID-19 Response

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has delegated authority to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the Public Health Service Act (PHS) to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, as recently as March 2020.
