CMS Approves CHAP for Continued Hospice Accreditation

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) for continued deeming authority for hospices, following a review of their standards and processes. CMS will recognize CHAP as a national accreditation program for hospices participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
