Delayed Update of the HHS Poverty Guidelines for the Remainder of 2010

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is issuing a delayed update of the 2010 poverty guidelines, which were originally set to be published in May 2010, due to recent legislation that prohibited the Secretary of HHS from publishing the guidelines before May 31, 2010, and required the 2009 poverty guidelines to remain in effect until updated guidelines were published.
