FDA Announces Cooperative Agreement Grant for Consumer Education Plan

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a single source application for a cooperative agreement grant (U18) in FY 2010 to the Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) to develop a strategic plan for consumer education on safe handling practices to prevent foodborne illness. The goal is to strengthen PFSE and ultimately improve consumer food safety practices and reduce foodborne illness incidence.
