Removing Any Reference to or Reliance on Credit Ratings in Commission Regulations; Proposing Alternatives to the Use of Credit Ratings

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is proposing to eliminate references to credit ratings in its regulations and instead suggest alternative methods for assessing creditworthiness, in an effort to reduce reliance on these ratings.
