FDA Announces Public Meeting to Discuss Animal Models Guidance and Reopen Comment Period

The FDA's CBER and CDER are hosting a public meeting to gather feedback on the draft 'Animal Models--Essential Elements to Address Efficacy Under the Animal Rule' document, which aims to address regulatory and scientific challenges in developing medical countermeasures for CBRN threats, and will consider comments in the development of a final version of the guidance.
