HHS to Review Petition for Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include employees from the Wah Chang facility in Oregon in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers workers exposed to radiation at the facility between 1971 and 2009.
