U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 90-Day Finding on Petition to List Southern Hickorynut Mussel as Threatened or Endangered

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has completed a 90-day review of a petition to list the southern hickorynut mussel as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and has determined that listing is not warranted due to lack of substantial scientific or commercial information, but invites the public to submit new information about the species' status or habitat threats
