Bishop Museum Completes Inventory of Native Hawaiian Cultural Items

The Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii has completed its inventory of Native Hawaiian cultural items, a process that began in 2019 and was mandated by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The museum has returned over 1,000 items to the Native Hawaiian community.
