Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Mid-Atlantic Proposed Oil and Gas Lease Sale 220: Scoping Meetings Cancelled and Comment Period Postponed

The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has cancelled three public scoping meetings scheduled for May 12, 25, and 27, and postponed the comment period on scoping for Lease Sale 220 until further notice. The scoping period for the Geological & Geophysical Programmatic EIS on the Mid- and South Atlantic OCS (G&G PEIS) is set to end on May 17, 2010.
