Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A340-200 and A340-300 Series Airplanes

Airbus has adopted a new airworthiness directive to address an unsafe condition on its A340-200 and A340-300 series airplanes, which could lead to engine failure, wing damage, or loss of control, following mandatory continuing airworthiness information from another country.
