Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC Granted Exemption for SL-Class Line Chassis Vehicles

The US Department of Transportation has granted Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC an exemption from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for the SL-Class Line Chassis vehicle line, allowing the company to install an antitheft device as standard equipment instead of marking parts as required by the standard.
