FMCSA Requests Public Comment on Exemption Applications for Lane Departure Warning System Sensors

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking public comment on applications from Con-way Freight, TK Holdings, Inc., and Iteris, Inc. to exempt commercial motor vehicles from regulations prohibiting the placement of lane departure warning system sensors near the top of the windshield, which could improve safety for drivers.
