Cessna Issues Airworthiness Directive for Model 525A Airplanes to Address Thrust Attenuator Paddle Issues
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) to supersede AD 2009-24-13, which requires inspections and replacements of thrust attenuator paddle assemblies on certain Cessna Model 525A airplanes to prevent potential in-flight departure of the paddles, leading to rudder and elevator damage and loss of control.
