PHMSA Proposes Amendment to Pipeline Safety Regulations for Rural Low-Stress Hazardous Liquid Pipelines

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is proposing to expand its pipeline safety regulations to include rural low-stress hazardous liquid pipelines that are not currently covered, in compliance with the Pipeline Inspection, Protection, Enforcement, and Safety Act of 2006 (PIPES Act).
