FMCSA Exempts Thirty-Three Individuals with Diabetes Mellitus from Commercial Motor Vehicle Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted exemptions to thirty-three individuals with insulin-treated diabetes mellitus (ITDM) to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in interstate commerce, allowing them to bypass the agency's rule prohibiting persons with ITDM from driving CMVs.
