NHTSA Publishes Corrected Theft Data for 2007 Passenger Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released corrected data on motor vehicle thefts for model year 2007, which shows a 11.1% decrease in the vehicle theft rate compared to 2006.
