FAA Proposes Changes to Airspace at Oxford, CT Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed removing Class E surface airspace as an extension to Class D airspace at the Oxford, CT airport, and amending Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet, due to the decommissioning of the Waterbury Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) at the Waterbury-Oxford airport, which is necessary for safe Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations.
