USDA Forest Service to Develop New National Grasslands Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement

The USDA Forest Service is preparing a new land and resource management plan for the Kiowa, Rita Blanca, Black Kettle, and McClellan Creek National Grasslands in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma, and will also develop an environmental impact statement. The new plan will replace the 1985 Cibola National Forest plan, which currently directs management of the National Grasslands, and will be developed in consultation with the public.
