GIPSA Proposes Posting and Deposting of 8, 20, and 34 Stockyards Under Packers and Stockyards Act

The Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) is taking several actions to post and depost stockyards under the Packers and Stockyards Act (P&S Act). The agency is proposing to post eight stockyards that are currently subject to the P&S Act, posting 20 additional stockyards that were previously identified as subject to the P&S Act, and deposting 34 stockyards that can no longer be used for their intended purpose.
