Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Haier Group Petition for Waiver of U.S. Department of Energy Test Procedures

The U.S. Department of Energy has published a notice announcing the receipt of a petition from Haier Group and Haier America Trading, L.L.C. for a waiver of certain test procedures for determining energy consumption of electric refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers, and has granted an interim waiver to the company.
