DOE Grants Waiver to Daikin for Commercial Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps

The U.S. Department of Energy has granted a waiver to Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. allowing it to use an alternate test procedure for its variable speed and variable refrigerant volume VRV-III-C multi-split heat pumps and heat recovery systems, which are exempt from the existing test procedure for commercial package central air conditioners and heat pumps.
