U.S. Department of Energy Finalizes Energy Conservation Standards for HID Lamps

The U.S. Department of Energy has determined that energy conservation standards for certain high-intensity discharge lamps are technologically feasible and economically justified, and would likely result in significant energy savings, following a court order that required the final determination by June 30, 2010.
