12 Nations Adopt Sea Turtle Reduction Programs Comparable to US Shrimp Fisheries

The US Department of State certified on April 22, 2011, that 12 nations have implemented programs to minimize sea turtle bycatch in their shrimp fisheries, similar to the US program, and that 26 other countries and Hong Kong do not pose a threat to protected sea turtles.
