US Department of State Proposes Amendment to International Traffic in Arms Regulations

The US Department of State is proposing to remove the International Import Certificate from the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), effectively ending its practice of accepting DSP-53 submissions, as there is no statutory or regulatory basis for this practice.
