US Imposes Nonproliferation Measures on Foreign Entities and Individuals
The US government has imposed nonproliferation measures on several foreign entities and individuals, including a ban on US government procurement, due to their involvement in activities related to the development of weapons of mass destruction. The decision is based on the Iran, North Korea, and Syria Nonproliferation Act, which targets entities and individuals involved in the transfer or acquisition of goods and technology controlled under multilateral lists since 1999, 2005, and 2006.
