SEC Open-File Review Committee to Discuss Proposed Rule Change on Disclosure Requirements for Publicly Traded Companies

The Open-File Review Committee of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has scheduled a meeting to discuss the proposed rule change related to the disclosure of certain information by publicly traded companies, including ExxonMobil (XOM) and Chevron Corporation (CVX). The meeting is open to the public and will be held on October 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM ET.
