CFTC Extends Swap Regulation Relief Until December 31, 2012

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued a final order extending temporary exemptive relief from certain provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act, originally granted on July 14, 2011, until December 31, 2012, with modifications to clarify terms and allow for the clearing of agricultural swaps.
