Changes to 8(a) Business Development Program Regulations and Tribal Consultation Meetings

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is holding tribal consultation meetings in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Anchorage, Alaska to discuss recent changes to the 8(a) Business Development program regulations, specifically the mandatory reporting of community benefits provision set to take effect on September 9, 2011. The SBA will consider testimony from these meetings as part of its deliberations on tracking community benefits.
