USPTO to Hold Public Meeting on Enhanced Examination Timing Control Initiative
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is hosting a public meeting to gather public feedback on a proposed initiative that would give applicants more control over when their patent applications are examined, and enhance collaboration between intellectual property offices. The meeting will discuss the proposed changes, which include allowing applicants to request prioritized examination, delay examination for up to 30 months, or continue with the current process.
